What this community is
People breaking a habit, in the moment, without shame. This is pain-killer, not medicine: nobody is asked to check in, track streaks, or prove anything. There is no rank to earn and no scoreboard to fall off. You show up, you read or write if you want, and that is the whole deal.
The only real rules
- No harassment — of any member, for any reason. Slurs, shaming, mocking, threats, dogpiling: none of it is tolerated. Someone's religious stance, political view, gender, relapse, or anything else about who they are is not an opening for attack.
- No explicit content. Pornographic images or video, graphic sexual descriptions, and links to adult material are removed by moderators. Describing a struggle is welcome; producing stimulation is not.
- No soliciting, no advertising. Anything for sale — especially anything adult: onlyfans, cam services, promo codes — is removed. Self-promotion without direct, honest relevance to the conversation is the same thing by another name.
- Protect the vulnerable. No grooming, no pushing conversations toward private channels, no asking anyone — least of all minors — for personal details. If someone applies private-contact pressure of any kind, report it.
- Be honest. No fake recovery stories built to earn trust, no predatory DMs to people at their lowest. Honesty is the only currency here.
- This is peer support, not therapy. Don't diagnose others and don't hand out medical advice. For real danger — self-harm, overdose, an immediate threat — use the crisis lines on the Get Help page; they exist for exactly that.
How moderation works
Everyone moderates a little: every post carries a report button, and using it takes a second. When a thread or reply gathers three independent reports, it is hidden automatically and waits for review — that keeps the worst content out of view even at 3am.
Moderators (and the owner) work through the queue: each report can be dismissed (nothing wrong), answered with a hide (content stays down), or removed. Repeated abuse, or anything aimed at the vulnerable, ends in account removal. Appeals go through the Contact page — a human answers.
The promise back
- Reports are confidential: moderators never share who reported what, or account details.
- A hide is review-only — it is the queue's way of pausing, not a verdict on you.
- The community's first duty is to the person having their worst night. Everything else bends to that.
How your data is handled
The conduct rules live next to the data promise: what the site stores about you, what it refuses to do with it, and how you delete it — that is all written down in the Privacy policy.
